Above; cordoned off section of the rock inside the Temple of Omar, Jerusalem. Supposedly Solomon had the first temple built here. Herod began the construction of the second temple around 20 B.C., completion around A.D. 64. it stood for six years before the Roman army burnt it to the ground during the great revolt. Upon this rock, we are told, thousands upon thousands of animals were slaughtered as vicarious sacrifices for Yahwey/Yahvey/Jave/Jove’s chosen people. Under the rock is a cave. Channels in the rock guided the blood to its entrance. Various ghost stories were perpetuated by the priests concerning the cave. Temples across the ancient world doubled as banks where treasure could be hoarded. Few would dare to brave ghosts of terrified humans and animals, wade through a mass of blood to steal the loot. This is the origin of the term ‘Blood Money.’ The ‘Mount’ is called Moriah/Meriah/Mariah which is the masonic “Hiram” backwards. Here the spoken word takes precedence over the psychological spell of spelling. Masons occasionally refer, in their own writings to ‘Heredom,’ a deliberate mis-spelling of Prince Herodim, the first judge and provost appointed by Solomon. His title was ‘Tito,’ ‘Knight of the Twelve Nights of the Twelve Tribes of Israel.’
Above; Jewish candlestick with planetary hour system applied. Ancient Babylonian/Chaldean/Sumerian priests invented the seven day week using then known (at least to the public) five known planets plus the moon and sun. Their day was split into three sections of morning, afternoon and night. Using astronomy, they could predict which planets would be ascendant while the sun was up, giving significance to the first hour of each section. As in the above picture the sequence has always been Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury and Moon. With the diagram below, the planetary hours can be found by following around the circumference. For the week-days, follow the line from Saturday to Sunday etc.
“Ruling” Planets for 3 part day
Below; A reconstruction of the Babylonian idea of the shape of the world.
E: Earth; H1, H2, H3: Heavens 1, 2 and 3; HO: Heavenly Ocean; O: Terrestrial Ocean; T: Bottom of Terrestrial Ocean; M: Morning (East), Sunrise Mountain; TR: Seven Walls and the Palace (P) of the Kingdom of the Dead.
The Accadian months were as follows:
The ancients went by the lunar calendar, hence the ‘intercalary’ 13th. period.
Names of the Month
The Assyrians, Babylonians and Jews adopted the Aramaic calendar which was derived from Sumer and Accad. Because of the intercalary extra period due to lunar calculations, the presiding deities do not correspond exactly to modern solar dating. Here, Papsukul would be Saturn presiding over Tebet (Capricorn), Papsukul being described as a ‘dark star’ meaning winter.
Thirteen has always been a highly significant number. It is the sun with its twelve followers (zodiac), Jacob with his twelve sons, Hercules with his twelve labours etc. etc. In Christian lore, 13 is an unlucky number (Bingo, 13 unlucky for some) representing betrayal and faithlessness. In which craft it is the Wizard and his 12 witches. In deeper areas it represents the upstanding man, born again (from the world of the profane=the dead) coupled with the trinity of ‘perfection,’ I+3=4 meaning ‘that which contains all of nature.’ It is a contraction of ‘the word’ for ‘I am.’ I3= I be. Lay the I down, put the m (3) over it and you have a very famous logo. The Egyptians used Anubis in the shape of a dog to aid Isis in her search for the fourteenth part of Osiris. A popular dog food is named after I am. What Osiris lost was his penis, the generative principle, first cause, Initiator. Our language is full of masonic terms. Y would he lose his WILL? The same story is told of Author and his knights of the round table.
Before the present analogy to the ‘building’ of Solomon’s temple, the old masonic charges used the building of Nimrod’s temple. Here is an extract from the Beswicke-Royds Ms, written early 16th. century. The complete version is written on four pieces of parchment stitched together to form a continuous strip six inches wide and six feet ten inches long.
Wherefore they writt these scienc’s wch were found in twoe pillars of Stone that they might bee at after the flood. The one ftone was called marble that cannot burne with fire. The other was called Lateras that cannot drowne with water. Our intent is now to tell you truly howe & in what manner these stones were found whereon these Crafts were written. The Greek Hermenes that was sonne vnto Cus and Cus was Sonne vnto Sem who was sonne vnto Noah This same Hermenes was afterwards called Hermes the father of wise men and hee found out the twoe pillars of stone wherein the scienc’s were written and taught them forth. And at the making of the Tower Babilon there was the Craft of Masonry then first found & made much of and the kinge of Babilon who called Hembroth or Nembroth was a mason and loved well the Craft as it is said with the mr of the stories.
And it befell in his dayes That the lords and states of this Realme Had so many sonnes that they had begotten some by their wyues and some by ladies of the realme, for that land is an hott land & plenteous generacon and they had no Competent living for their children wherefore they made much sorrowe And the kinge of that land called a great Counsell & a pliamt to knowe how they might fynd there children meanes and they could fynd no good wayes. Then hee caused a Cry to bee made throughout the Realme That If there were any man that could informe him that hee should come vnto him and hee should bee well rewarded and hould him- selfe well paid. And after this Crye was made, this worthy Clarke Euclid came and said to the kinge and all his great Lords If you will haue yor children gouerned & taught honestly as gentleman should bee vnder Condision that you will grant them & mee a Comifsion that I may haue power to rule them honestly as those sciencs ought to bee ruled And the kinge with his Counsell granted them& sealed that Comisfion And then the worthy docter tooke the Lords sonnes and taught them the science of Geometry in practice to worke masonry and all manner of worthy workes that belonged to building of Castles & all maner of Courts Temples Churches with all other building & hee gaue them charges in this manner first that they should bee true unto the kinge and vnto the lord they serued and that they should loue well togethr and bee true one to anothr and that they should call one & other fellowes & not servant or knaue noe othr foule names and that they should truly serue for their paymt the lord they serued.
The Halliwell Poem (1390) would appear to confirm this; The clerk Euclid in this wyse did found The craft of Geometry in Egypt’s land. In Egypt he taught it full wide, In divers lands on every side…… This craft came to England, let me say, In time of good King Athelstan’s day.
